Auto disable Touch Pad when mouse is attached
In some cases, the Touch Pad section can cause problems in terms of usage angle on laptop computers. Touch Pad, which remains active while using your computer with a mouse, can accidentally perform some operations with the shortcut keys. This situation creates a problem for the user who does homework, works, writes code or plays games on the computer.
Almost all of the users do not need the Touch Pad hardware when using a mouse on laptop computers. Although turning off this hardware is done with Fn+F5 and similar hot keys, sometimes it can be forgotten to turn it off. This can affect users.
If you want the Touch Pad hardware to be turned off automatically when you use your computer with a mouse, perform the following steps;
STEP 1: Open Settings from the Search section.
STEP 2: Click Devices.
STEP 3: Click the Touchpad tab on the left. Now you click on Additional settings on the right.You have set the Touch Pad to not work when the mouse is attached.
STEP 4: Go to the ELAN tab from the top of the window that opens . Check the Disable when external USB mouse is plugged in. Apply / OK .
