⇧ Shift + ⌘ Command + 3 

To take a screenshot on Mac; Hold down Shift, Command and the number 3.

Then a small image will appear in the lower right corner of your screen. You can click on this image to edit the screenshot, or you can wait for this image to be saved on your desktop within 3-5 seconds without taking any action. 

2- TAKING A SCREENSHOT OF A SPECIFIC WINDOW: 

If you want to take a picture of only a specific window or menu on your computer in the macOS operating system; You can do this in a practical way with a 4-key combination. 

The key combination you will use to take a screenshot of a particular window or menu on MAC is as follows;

⇧ Shift + ⌘ Command + 4 + Space Bar 
The Space Bar key is the space bar on the keyboard.

To take a screenshot of a specific window on Mac

Open the relevant window or menu and hold down Shift, Command, the number 4 and the Space key on the keyboard.

You can take a screenshot of only certain parts of the macOS operating system on your computer screen. Here are the steps you need to do to take a screenshot accordingly:

First, start the screenshot process with the following 3-key combination. 

⇧ Shift + ⌘ Command + 4
